KZN WINTER AIR TOUR PIETERMARITZBURG AIRSHOW 7 JUNE 2014

The 4th airshow of the KZN Winter Air Tour took place at Pietermaritzburg in glorious sunshine and the organizers of the KZN Winter Air Tour again successfully fulfilled their mandate of bringing aviation to the locals of KwaZulu Natal.
Airlink Avro RJ85 showed off its classic lines.

During the lunch break the apron was opened to the public giving the spectators the opportunity to mingle with the pilots and actually touch the aircraft, bringing the locals into actual contact with aviation
The skillful display by members of the Durban Skydive team led by Ian Douglas was thoroughly enjoyed by the crowd.
The members of the Silver Falcon display team saluting the crowd before they flew their display.
They later flew with a precision that was a pleasure to watch.
SA Express Bombardier DHC-8-402 display was one of the biggest surprises of the show.
The Slick 540 excellently displayed by Neville Ferreira.
A Harley motorbike took the Slick 540 on in a race that was, according to the judges, won by the Harley.
The Eqstra Harvard display team performance was once again a display of precision formation flying.
Nigel in his magnificent MX2 entertained the crowd with a riveting aerobatic display. Nigel was in top form.
The Aero L-29 Delfin flown by Martin Schultze was the sole pure jet ex-warbird aircraft on display.
The Yak Attack team gave an excellent display of formation flying.
The arrivals and departures of the scheduled flights by Airlink's Embraer ERJ135 and Avro RJ85 together with the SA%2
The 5th KZN Winter Tour Airshow will take place at Margate on Saturday the 14th June and promise to be an event not to miss.
