OSHKOSH 2019 Day Three

By Willie Bodenstein and Juri Keyter

It is Wednesday and hard to believe that we have been here for three days already and have only three more to go before our International Airshow Month comes to an end.

Wednesday is the first of the two evening shows, the other is held on Saturday. Juri will be reporting on both as part of our video report. However, before we get to the heavy metal displayed during the portion of the afternoon's show that we attended, here is some action from a more sedate part of Oshkosh, the round the patch fliers at the Ultra-Light Field.

In today's afternoon show, we saw a large range of current and ex-military aircraft. Some not as impressive as others but still nostalgic to see.

Oshkosh 2019 has been designated as the year of the fighter and we hope that in the last three days of the event we will see more and more and these aircraft types that fascinated people and drew millions to air events all over the world.
