The Kroon Breakfast Fly-In - 2012

We always hear about the big fly-ins but the smaller ones do not always get the exposure and coverage even though many aviators in South Africa would like to know and read about them. One such an event and an opportunity I had to take was the Kroon Breakfast fly-in between Pretoria North and Brits.
Approximately 35 microlights, Savannah's, Cheetahs, some Gyros, a Raven and a Gazelle attended the event. Hans de Beer gave his usual smoke display with his Kitfox, recently upgrade with a Rotax 914. Microlights came and went while we enjoyed a healthy breakfast.
The photos say it all. A well-attended fly-in and enjoyed by everyone there.
